Christmas Re-Cap

Man, oh man!  Did we have a lot of Christmas fun or what?  I felt like Christmas was neverending this year...  I only took 700+ pictures in a 4 day time span!  I narrowed it down and only put 200(ish) on this post.  It's so hard to pick the best ones when they are all pictures of my cute kiddos!

We had our little family (of 5) Christmas on Monday, the 23rd.  My parents came over to watch the kids open their gifts from us and from each other.

This is Barrett opening his gift from Jayna:
It's a Mike Wazowski mask!

And now, Jayna is opening her gift from Barrett:

a boy Barbie with an extra outfit:

They are so sweet to each other:

George's gift from Jayna...

He liked it!

You will notice a pony-theme throughout this Christmas.  Jayna has been really into horses this year

new nightlights

George still mesmerized by his new toy:

Ta-da!

Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots!

Barrett helping George open the present that Barrett got him:
He's speechless!

Jayna helped George open his gift from us:

Jayna has wanted a doll house for years... and now she has one!

This was Jayna and Barrett's gift from George - a glow in the dark basketball!

We had the kids leave the room and come back in once we brought the basketball goal inside.  I forgot to get a picture of them with their new basketball goal, but as you can see from their faces, they like it!

Jayna just beat Bonham at Rock 'em Sock 'em!

Nana and Barrett playing...

On the 24th, we had Christmas with my parents and brother's family.

Jayna's new Christmas dress came with a matching dress for her baby doll:

Jayna and Barrett:

Jayna and Papa playing Guess Who - its not a cool of a game as when I was a kid.  I wish I could find the original version of the game

I was hoping to get some good pictures of George by the Christmas tree... but as you can see from the next few pictures, that didn't happen  :(

Barrett had some "Magic Reindeer Food" to sprinkle in the yard so that Santa and the reindeer would know where to come to deliver presents

 every last bit...

We also celebrated my niece, Presley's 6th birthday before we opened presents

my nephew, Grant

All of the Nana and Papa's grandkids:

Presley (6) and Grant (17 months)

Barrett (5), George (3 months), and Jayna (7)

cousin, Presley and George

cousins (and Jayna's baby doll)

Look!  The "Magic Reindeer Food" worked!  Santa showed up!

Santa with Mrs. Claus, AKA: my neighbor, Julie
(her husband, Randy was playing Santa)

Boys will be boys girls when they have sisters...

Presley's birthday cake:

Let the present opening begin!

George got a monkey and a New Year's outfit

Jayna got some rubber bands for making bracelets

Barrett got some Angry Bird slippers

Presley got a Barbie doll:

Bonham got a Dallas Cowboy grilling spatula

Jayna got a flashlight panda bear thing... haha!  I don't know what it's really called

New clothes - always a plus!

I got some nice family stockings!  Yay!

Bonham got some air tight canisters for his pantry!
He's excited... he's really been wanting some of these

Panda slippers...

Work gloves:

My mom framed the wrapping paper that I made last year with the kids

She was so excited to have some of these ponies!

Presley helped by opening this for George:

little puppy light...

More canisters...

A nice warm monkey outfit for George

A pogo stick!

Golf clubs - a good sport for a kid with high blood pressure.
Maybe he'll go pro!

and the last gift...

Kindles for everyone!  (well, these 3)

On Christmas Day, we woke up for Santa gifts....
Jayna woke up first, so she went to wake up Barrett...

From the look on Barrett's face, I think he thought Jayna's gifts were left for him...
He wrote Santa a letter at school and asked for Monster's University
 A pony!

and My Little Pony puzzles
  and fingernail polish
 ooohh.... robots!

And then headed to Abilene for Christmas with Bonham's family:

our neice, Claire, the little elf this year... tired from the Christmas festivities before we even got started!

George and cousin, Emerson

George and Grandpa
The outfit that George is wearing is one that used to belong to Robert and was perfect for Christmas!

They piled up quickly!

Sweet picture of Grandma and Grandpa and all of their grandchildren
(minus Elissa - due in February)
Grandkids, counter clockwise
Barrett (5), George (3 mos), Brielle (will be 2 in Jan),
Claire, the elf (6 mos), Emerson and Jayna (both 7)
 And then it got crazy...

Present time!

 Emerson got a lava lamp:
 George is waiting patiently...
 Barrett got a Bear Towel

Claire opening a gift from us

Jayna got some nail art stuff and a purse that can be colored with markers

George got tired of waiting and went to sleep...

Our sweet Barrett and his missing teeth:

We got Robert this hat to keep his ears warm and he kept acting like he couldn't hear Barrett talking to him... it was funny.

New clothes!

yummy paper!

Jayna loves her baby cousin!

Barrett and Uncle Robbie wrestling

Claire, future Baylor Bear?

Everyone wants to help George open his Christmas gifts...

More ponies!  :)

If a gift could go on Barrett's head, it did!

Some new running pants for Bonham

Some baby clothes for Elissa!

Some cowboy footed pajamas for Barrett

New outfit for George:

This is his hat from Aunt Kathy:

Cousin, Emerson and George

George has been drooling a lot, so we found a bib to put on him (yes, it's pink - there are more girls in this family than boys).  He still looks good in pink though!

"Big" Kids Table

Merry Christmas!

And then we had our last Christmas celebration at my parents' house with my Mamo and Aunts, Uncles, and cousins (on my dad's side).

Barrett opened this and was like, "Cool!  um... was it is?"   LOL

Jayna and Barrett both got some cool things from their Great Aunts and Uncles

Mamo opening her gifts...

 Bonham opening George's gift - he doesn't mind  ;)

Mamo has some new movies to watch!

Bonham laid claim to George's candy...

New outfit for George and he looks SO cute in it!  Imagine that!?!

My man and my baby...  haha
Take a good look at his pretty face, because he is giving up hair cuts and shaving (Duck Dynasty inspired?)  We'll see how long it lasts though...

Papa's gift exchange selection:
"No one touches his candy!"  (I think the meds had kicked in)

Grant was eating during the gift exchange
 "Here Presley... open this", Barrett

"All done!"
