2010 and 2011

I don't even think that I could re-cap this last year... it seems like it went by so fast!!! I definitely remember how 2010 started! It was one of the worst starts to a year... our truck broke down on January 1st on our way back from a New Year's Eve Party that we were DJ'ing about an hour and a half away from Abilene. We were pulling our trailer and the transmission went out. My father-in-law had to come pick us up off the side of the road at 3:00 am. We had planned on going out of town that weekend to visit Bonham's grandparents and out trip got delayed, but we still went. While were there, I washed the pants that I had been wearing that contained the check from the gig the night before. It really felt like 2010 might have started out on the wrong foot! We were able to get the DJ customer to send us another check and we got the transmission fixed ($1,800 later).

Since then, things haven't been too bad... Things haven't gone exactly as we planned, but who are we kidding? They never do! Bonham and I are the 'King and Queen of Great Plans'! What is that saying about the best plans... I don't know. It's probably something like, 'the best plans, don't work out'!!! hahahaha =)
Good thing we've gotten to good at 'switching gears' and trying something new. =) We persevere.

I am now working at Chase bank and it is going well. I am enrolled in classes for this next semester and I am hoping to finish schooling in the next one and a half to two years, so that I can teach. Bonham is trying to align himself with the right people, the right tests, etc. to get a job this next year. There we go with our 'planning' again...
