We are getting closer and closer to moving and it’s so exciting! I can already feel the space around me!!! =)
The lady who was living in the house that we are moving into has moved out, the carpets are being cleaned, and Bonham is going to be working on a few things to get the house ready for us to move in. We are going to slowly move a few things here and there until we are officially moved. My last day at work is July 30th and we will be moving the following Saturday. The past few weeks have gone by fairly fast. I just hope that the next 5 weeks and 4 days go just as fast or faster.
So what else is going on with us?
Well, we are still really busy with our DJ business. We just got a few calls over the past week and we are booking another 4 gigs! It’s amazing how everything is coming together. We are exhausted and definitely ready for a break, but the money is greatly needed and we are saving as much as we can for the upcoming move.
My friend, Jennifer had a garage sale this past weekend and we decided to just get rid of a bunch of stuff that we didn't need or we weren't using.... we made over $600 bucks! This weekend, we are going up to see my parents (and DJ 2 weddings - one on Saturday and one on Sunday). While we are there, we are going to look at our new (to us) house and see what we have room for and what it’s time to part with. So we will be having another garage sale in July before we move.
Another thing that we are doing is looking for a church to visit when we move. Jayna loves going to church and I know that Barrett will eventually be the same, but it’s rough with his age.... he doesn't us to leave him. I'll post more soon....
