From weeks, to days, to hours...

The countdown hasn't quite reached hours... yet! =)

The kids are officially moved and they (with Bonham) stayed at our new (to us) house. Barrett got to sleep in a 'big-boy' bed! We set up his baby bed, because our plan was to slowly transition him into a big-boy bed, but he had different plans!

Bonham said that he put him in the crib and he cried and cried, 'My Mickey bed.... my Mickey bed...' So Bonham put him in the Mickey bed, which is a twin bed. And then Barrett said, 'Night-night, Daddy.' Bonham said he would lay down and pop back up and this went on for awhile.... so Bonham put him back in the crib and he cried and cried... this went on a few more times.... back and forth, back and forth. =)

Finally, he did go to the Mickey bed and he slept all night! Which Barrett really doesn't have trouble sleeping through the night, that is our other child! =) Bonham called this morning at 8:15 and said that Barrett was still asleep and that he had slept through the night. Bonham woke up between 2 and 3 a.m. and he went in there to check on him. He had moved some and was sleeping sideways, but when he went in there this morning, he was back on his pillow and sleeping normally.

Not sure if I've explained the set up of our new house, but its kind of a funky-set up. There is a room at the very back of the house that looks like it used to be 2 rooms, but someone knocked out the wall and made it one big, long room.... As of right now, we have the following things in that room: 2 twin beds, which will eventually be a bunk bed, but they are separated for now, a baby crib, 2 dressers, and lots of toys! We are going to let the kids share a room for a little while to see how that works out.... Our only concern is the sleeping. Barrett is used to going to bed before Jayna and sleeping longer than Jayna. It worked out fine last night, because Barrett probably never realized that he was sharing a room with anyone else! Once he figures out that Jayna is in there, he might not want to sleep as much; he'll want to play! The good thing is that nothing is permanent.... we can always move beds and change things up if we need to! =)

Two more days until we are officially moved! I can't believe that it's finally here! Tomorrow is my last day of work.... and then I will be a stay-at-home mom (again)! LOL

We are hoping and praying that Bonham will get a job offer soon!!! Fingers crossed! =)
